Life Along the Wallkill

Sparta Historical Society's spring exhibit at the Van Kirk Homestead Museum is the story of Sparta and its historic relationship to the Wallkill River.  This exhibit illustrates the continuum of this relationship from the eighteenth into the twentieth century through artifacts, photographs, animal mounts pertaining to the natural environment, native inhabitants, and settlers, including the businesses, railroads, and industries that served the growing community.  2PM talk
