Sparta Historical welcomes guest speaker Lachin Robertson from Walkill River National Wildlife Refuge.  To coincide with our "Tree-mendous" exhibit, he will talk about "Forests in the Walkill".  Highlighting the efforts to restore the woodlands as well s the rare Atlantic white Cedar bog.  The ecology of the foreted landscape will be discussed as well as the benefits they provide to wildlife and people.  Light refreshments.
