POSPONED Carrie Chapman Catt: Founder of League of Women Voters

Sparta Historical Society celebrates Women History Month and the 100th anniversary of 19th Amendment guaranteeing women voting rights with our third and final character portrayal of Carrie Chapman Carr, suffragist leader and secret "Winning Plan"  strategist.  Carrie was the women right dynamo who succeeded Susan B Anthony as Head of the National American Women Suffrage Association.  First person interpreter, Pat Jordan, brings her life and amazing story to you through a dramatic odyssey that is important, engaging and relevant today.
