Sparta Historical Society's at Van Kirk Homestead Museum, sponsored by Perona Farms, reflects the work of a community photographer who chronicled a quarter century of Sparta as well as photos of commercial, news, sports, and celebrities.  Engelbrecht's photographs have appeared nationally in Life magazine, National Geographic, The Golfer, and NY Times in addition to state publications and residential magazines like The Papoose and Lake Hopatcong Breeze.  During the last decade of his life, he was the personal photographer of John D Rockefeller.   2PM talk
