On Wednesday, September 9, 2026, Senator Space visited the Van Kirk Homestead Museum for about 30 minutes. We gave a thorough tour of the entire museum including the grounds and outbuildings. Senator Space seemed appreciative and knew first hand the trials, tribulations and exhiliation of operating an educational museum. He was pleased to hear that Sparta Middle Schools took advantage and walked over annually. He graciously offered his written support if needed. Thank you Senator Space - it was an honor to have you visit us!
