Ten years after its initial dedication as a NJ Chamption Heritage White Oak, the NJ Forestry office was back for its 10 year remeasurement ceremony. The Sparta 7th grade science class visited and assisted Forrest Jennings in measuring our fabulous tree. Our White Oak was proclaimed in good health and had an unexpected growth. We are anticipating the final 'official" state results but we anticipated going from being the 11th biggest NJ White Oak to 3rd largest White Oak being years old!!!
